Only 7 km from Hosea Kutako International Airport and 40 km from Windhoek, Ondekaremba offers a peaceful bush savannah retreat just 15 minutes from your plane—ideal at the start or end of your Namibian journey.
Nature’s paradise near airport and Windhoek.
Founded in 1900, Ondekaremba evolved from a cattle farm into a guest farm and later a lodge. The old windmill and original farmhouse remain reminders of its early years. The arrival of the railway in 1922 and the construction of the international airport in 1961 marked important milestones in its development.
Since 2011, Ondekaremba has partnered with Waterberg Wilderness and Ghaub, linking tourism with conservation. After being leased during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure continuity, it is now entering a new chapter under ONE Namibia.

The tranquil courtyard with natural stone and large trees forms the heart of the lodge and invites guests to linger.

Spacious garden with a play area – ideal for families and relaxed afternoons outdoors.
